Island Lake is another stocked trout lake located along Highway 3 in the Crowsnest Pass area near the BC border.
Similar to other lakes in the area, Island Lake gets pretty windy. It is a popular swimming and boating spot in the summer.
There is a 40 spot campground by Island Lake if you are planning to stay overnight.

Limits for put and take stocked lakes:
- 5 trout of any size
- 3 Northern Pike of any size
- 15 Yellow Perch of any size
