Shunda Lake or Fish Lake how it is also often called is a very popular fishing spot just outside of Nordegg.
Many people that fish at Shunda stay at the campground located right by the lake. If you can, book your campground spots early to get a spot right by the lake.

Shunda Lake Fishing Spots
There are a lot of spots that you can fish from along the Fish Lake campground. The opposite side of the lake has a few good spots as well but you will need to walk there and the trail can get quite muddy after the rain. The main boat launch area is good as well but it gets busy.
