Rawson Lake Directions

Rawson Lake Fishing Tips
The area around Rawson Lake often gets closed due to bear activity so it might be worth checking if the trail is open before going to the lake.
Similar to Upper and Lower Kananaskis Lakes no bait is allowed at Rawson Lake. Fly fishing with nymphs usually works pretty well. The most common fish at Rawson Lake is Cutthroat Trout.
If you have an inflatable float tube, bring it along however shore fishing is pretty good as well when it is not too crowded. There is usually snow around the lake most of the year.
