Lake Newell Fishing Tips
In addition to pike, you can also catch walleye, perch, whitefish and burbot. The max depth of Lake Newell is 20 m.
The easiest way to access the lake is from the Kinbrook Island Provincial Park. There is a large campground at Kinbrook Island which is very popular in the summer.
The south end of the lake has a few good fishing spots. If you are fishing in the summer it might be easier to fish if you have a boat.
You can still fish from the shore but it is not as effective. If you end up fishing from a shore, try the boat launch area at Kinbrook Island.
