Spring Lake is often stocked with brook and rainbow trout. Both open water and ice fishing are popular at Spring Lake.

Spring Lake is located 85 km NE of Grande Prairie near Hythe. There are a small ski hill and campground not far from the lake.

- 3 Northern Pike of any size
- 15 Yellow Perch of any size
