Chip Lake is located 127 km West of Edmonton. This is a very shallow lake where you can catch pike and burbot.
Ice fishing is usually better at Chip Lake than open water fishing. There is a lot of weed in this lake in the summer.
The best place to fish is near the island and river inlet.
