Dickson Trout Pond is located just outside of Red Deer and is regularly stocked with rainbow trout. You can also catch suckers in this lake.
During hot summer months, it is common for blue-green algae to bloom at Dickson Pond. Green algae decrease oxygen levels in the water and can also produce toxins that can harm the fish. Early summer is the best time to fish at Dickson Pond.
There are also reports that some years this lake can be affected by winter kill.
Dickson Point Campground located by the lake has 18 campsites that can be used if you are planning to stay overnight.

- 15 Yellow Perch of any size
