Goldeye Lake Directions

Goldeye Lake is located 180 km west of Red Deer.

Goldeye Lake Fishing Tips

Goldeye is a pretty shallow lake and it is not a bad idea to bring a boat if you are planning to fish. However, fishing from the shore is possible around the dock area where there is a steeper drop-off. Ice fishing is also very popular at Goldeye.

There is a campground right by the lake if you want to stay for more than a day in the summer.

Goldeye Lake is regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout.
