The hike to Hogarth Lakes is pretty short which makes it a great fishing spot if you want to avoid long hikes with high elevation gain. These lakes are sometimes stocked with Cutthroat Trout.

Hogarth Lakes are located 148 km west of Calgary and require 2 km hike with an elevation gain of about 100 m. The hiking trail starts from the parking lot located on the south side of Mud Lake.
