Originally Peppers Lake used to be stocked only with brook trout but recently rainbow trout was introduced as well to protect the bull trout. As in most other stocked lakes worms and PowerBait work pretty well for catching both rainbows and brooks.
Pepper Lakes campground with 16 campsites is located close to the lake.

Peppers Lake is located 161 km west of Red Deer and 84 km south of Nordegg. You will need to take a dirt road to get to this lake.

Limits for stocked lakes:
- 5 trout of any size
- 3 Northern Pike of any size
- 15 Yellow Perch of any size
