Pigeon Lake is located between Edmonton and Red Deer. It is a very popular large lake where you can catch burbot, perch, walleye, pike, and whitefish.
The most popular fishing spot is a dropoff near the provincial park area.
Due to relatively shallow depths, Pigeon Lake is often affected by green algae in the summer.
