This small pond is located along Highway 68 (Sibbald Creek Trail). It usually gets stocked with rainbow trout every year. There are also reports of brook trout being caught here.
There is a lot of wildlife in the area such as eagles and beavers. This is a very popular fishing spot for families with kids.
Strong winds are quite common around Sibbald area.

Sibbald Meadows Pond Directions
There are two ways to get to Sibbald Meadows Pond from Calgary. One is by taking Highway 68 from Trans-Canada Highway and the other one is by taking Highway 68 from Highway 40.
Only the first 11 km of Highway 68 are paved. The rest is in a pretty rough shape with a lot of deep potholes. This road also gets very dusty in a summer.
