The north side of the lake by the spillway is a popular fishing spot. However, stay away 100 m from it as per Fishing Regulations.
In the summer, Little Bow Provincial Park is a great place to camp if you are planning to fish for a few days.
Besides pike and walleye, you can also catch whitefish and burbot at Travers Reservoir.
