Emerald Lake is located just across the road from Crowsnest Lake. Be aware that this is now the same as Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park, BC!
It is a beautiful lake popular for swimming in the summer because of the small beach area on the south side of the lake.
It takes around 5-10 minutes to get from the parking lot to the lake. You will need to go down the steep hill when you get closer to the lake.
There are reports of the rainbow, cutthroat, and lake trout in this lake. However, it is not getting stocked as often as it used to be in the past.
